On this day a group of Bronx residents organized a march in support of the Black Lives Matter
movement. The residents were part of an organization called “Until Freedom”. The march started at Fordham Road on the Grand Concourse and continued until 161 Street on the Grand
concourse. This particular organization, according to its website, “is an intersectional social
justice organization rooted in the leadership of diverse people of color to address systemic and
racial injustice”. The protesters planned to organize more marches within the coming day.
